Anticipating the Fall Yacht Show Season, by Bo Larsen, VP of Commercial Partnerships
With the fall yacht show season in full view, VIKAND is excited to start off with a bang. We’re more than just attending the Monaco Yacht Show, we are co-hosting an ACREW Breakfast Seminar on total wellbeing aboard on 30 September with colleagues at Dryad Global.
Wellbeing aboard—particularly in the crew experience—is critical to successful yacht operations. Crew recruitment and retention is of particular concern to owners and yacht managers. By recognizing crew welfare and fostering a culture that promotes all aspects of health—physical and mental—we acknowledge shortcomings and develop solutions, creating a more holistic experience for all.
We believe that a focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) and a culture of care applies universally to the global maritime industry. VIKAND has founded the Seafarer Human Sustainability initiative with notable partners and associations. We are excited to share the philosophy of this effort more broadly in the yachting industry. Human sustainability is good for business and good for crew.

We look forward to meeting with yachting professionals, crew, managers, and owners in the months ahead. Look for additional events, news, and discussions on crew welfare in yachting and how we all connect to seafarer human sustainability.
See you on the docks.
