FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida (October 6, 2020) – VIKAND claimed the Supplier of the Year at the 14^th annual Seatrade Cruise Awards, the global cruise industry’s most distinguished award programme. The award was presented at a virtual ceremony on 6 October 2020, during the first-ever Seatrade Cruise Virtual.

This award is given to the company that has provided exceptional quality service, product, or innovation to the cruise sector over the past 12 months. Though COVID-19 has challenged the industry, VIKAND has countered by fulfilling public health and medical needs with new protocols and testing solutions to help re-start maritime operations.

The awards, sponsored by Oracle Hospitality, were presented by Mary Bond, Group Director, Seatrade Cruise, alongside Ingo Soerensen, Area VP, Global Cruise Sales, Oracle Hospitality as well as Cruise Baltic’s Claus Bodker and V. Ships Leisure’s Per Bjornesen.
