VIKAND Hires Michele Hart, RN as Key Account Manager
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (November 10, 2014) – VIKAND (formerly known as MHG Medical Management Services), is pleased to announce the addition of Michele Hart, RN to their team. Reporting to Crystol Lasley, Director, Medical Services, Michele will be responsible for the management of medical operations designated clients, including formulary and equipment management and providing general medical services and conducting audits of shipboard medical facilities.
VIKAND’s services include medical facilities management and consulting, biomedical equipment inspection and calibration, outbreak mitigation and crisis management, medical personnel credentialing, placement and/or management, medical facilities auditing and support, formulary and medical equipment standardization, procurement and management, pre-employment medical examination support and crew wellness programs. VIKAND operates in all aspects of the maritime industry including Cruise, Commercial and Energy industry as well as in the Mega-Yacht Sector.
Prior to joining VIKAND, Michele worked for a large cruise line, both as a Lead Nurse onboard ship and, more recently, in the corporate offices where she worked as Case Manager within the Crew Medical Division and was instrumental in the development of a Crew Wellness Program. Michele also has extensive experience in Emergency Medicine and has more than 18 years of experience as an RN.
