VIKAND moves to Downtown Fort Lauderdale
– We are quickly growing and realized that we needed a new office space better suited to our needs. VIKAND is now located in the epicenter of Fort Lauderdale, in Las Olas River House, says Peter Hult, President. A majority of the VIKAND staff spends most time out of the office, organizing on-location set up of medical facilities and performing biomedical equipment audits worldwide.
– The new office space will better match our fast-moving operations and constitute a more central landing base for our mobile staff; we travel somewhere between 300-400 days per year. Parts of the VIKAND crew have spent the spring in Italy, Greece and Croatia and among future itineraries this summer are Alaska and the Caribbean.
– Our clients won’t notice our move other than a new address and updated phone numbers. We do look forward to invite them to meetings in our new scenic conference rooms facing Tarpon River, says Len Quist, Director of Operations.
– VIKAND’s long-term strategy is to be a complete one-stop-shop for medical services customized for the maritime industry. Having said that mean that we are constantly looking to expand our service offerings – our new location better supports meetings with potential partners and clients. We also put strong emphasis on community engagement and are now located next to Broward Alliance and The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce – to mention some organizations we are partners with, says Peter Hult.
