Seatrade Cruise Global took place at the end of March in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. For the VIKAND team, it was a productive opportunity to meet with clients and discuss industry trends, challenges and future projects.

Delivering healthcare solutions to the cruise industry involves our entire organisation, so we attended Seatrade with team members from Human Resources, BioMedical, Client Engagement, Medical and Public Health to engage in conversations around new and innovative projects.

VIKAND was also supported by six partners who are equally passionate about Seafarer Human Sustainability. Investing in the health, safety and happiness of cruise workers isn't just good for people – it’s good for guests and cruise lines alike. Next on our agenda are Nor-Shipping in Oslo and the virtual Safety4Sea conference in June. At both conferences we will focus on VIKAND’s services and on minimising risk through remote healthcare solutions and proactive engagement with seafarers, shipowners and ship managers.
