You’ll find VIKAND everywhere from sea to sea, shore to shore. Our vision to be the world’s leading expert in maritime health care is buoyed again and again by the richness of our partnerships with businesses, maritime associations, regulators, and government.
At Nor-Shipping in April, the VIKAND team deepened existing relationships and made new ones. And, notably, along with key industry stakeholders, we launched the Seafarers’ Human Sustainability Declaration. We held the celebration of this promising step forward at the U.S. Ambassador’s residence during the U.S. Coast Guard’s annual Amver Awards ceremony.
We are privileged to present the Declaration to an even broader group of industry stakeholders during Posidonia at the U.S. Ambassador’s home. Similarly, in great anticipation of the opening of our Copenhagen offices, our Summer Cocktails Reception will be at the U.S. Ambassador’s residence in Denmark.
Of course, we also have medical professionals and support teams aboard all types of vessels sailing the seven seas. Managing health care needs on a global basis also requires the expertise of the exceptional businesses, NGOs, and regulatory agencies we partner with. Leaders in their fields, these partners represent the very core of collaboration. Our partnerships always exceed the necessity of logistical synergies—friendships occur.

As we traverse the globe from conferences to onboard vessel management, we gratefully appreciate the bonds we enjoy and the accord they provide.
